Your Destiny is In His Hands

Isaiah 49

The Lord has called Me from the womb;
From the matrix of My mother
He has made mention of My name.
And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword;
In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me,
And made me a polished shaft;
In His quiver He has hidden Me.

In our walk towards fulfilling our destinies, know that God has first of all hand-picked us, and He will provide us all that is needed to fulfill that call. All that is needed is a daily walk with Him. I guess it is difficult to know our destinies when we are in the wilderness, but it is in that place where character is built and dealings of God take place. We may find things are not working out for us and suddenly all that He has told us seems to be meaningless. BUT it is in these times where we find our greatest satisfaction...abiding with Him and knowing Him. Ultimately, it is not just walking towards a destiny but being with Him is destiny itself...

I like what David wrote in Psalm 63 when he was in the wilderness of Judah...

Psalm 63:1-8

O God, You are my God; I earnestly search for You.
My soul thirsts for You; my whole body longs for You in this parched and weary land where there is no water.

I have seen you in Your sanctuary and gazed upon Your power and glory.
Your unfailing love is better to me than life itself; how I praise You!
I will honor You as long as I live, lifting up my hands to You in prayer.
You satisfy me more than the richest of foods.
I will praise You with songs of joy.

I lie awake thinking of You, meditating on You through the night.
I think how much You have helped me;
I sing for joy in the shadow of Your protecting wings.
I follow close behind You;
Your strong right hand holds me securely.

Just a note to say that I do treasure friendships...from all ages and different walks of life..."youngies," "oldies," .... i believe God has put you in my life so that in my daily walk I see part of Him in you...

April will be a busy month for me...many challenges ahead...do hope that if you do not see this blog updated for a while...do continue to leave your footprints..

Actually I do enjoy challenges..it is just the thought of having to do the task, you know when you are lying in bed and suddenly it just dawns upon you that it is coming soon...but have to let go lah of any worries...dont want to have white hair okay..

In any Friendships, what is important is being able to fully trust someone. It takes time to build that trust but it can be broken by just a moment of carelessness...in anycase, forgiveness has to be lived out and we start all over again to build that trust..

Okie..have to go now...seems like i have more to write late at night...hmmm...tata! Love ya!
