Seasons...

God has a cycle of life for each one of us. Our life cycle begins at conception and moves along in the following progression:

Conception is the beginning of God’s purpose by knitting us together in the womb.

Birth is the bringing forth of the new life God has created.

Age of accountability with an awareness of our need for God.

Rebirth when we are quickened from darkness into light.

Receiving hope by searching for and receiving the expectation of God for our future.

Maturing of our faith into an overcoming weapon of God.

Demonstration of God’s glory and inner fulfillment of our identity in Him.

A completion of our role in the earth realm, facing death and entering into eternity.

The enemy loves to interrupt the life cycle in any one of these stages so that the fulfillment of our destiny cannot be completed. He would love for us to miss the kairos or opportune time that the Lord has in each of the phases above. If you miss that now time, it does not mean that things will never be back in order, it just means you postpone what God wants to do, and you enter into a prolonged wilderness season.

We all have wilderness seasons that are ordained of God where we are moving from one season to another. However, we can prolong this wilderness season. Jesus stayed in His wilderness season for 40 days, whereas the Israelites stayed in their wilderness season for 40 years. The Israelites stayed were held captive in their wilderness season because of their unbelief and hardness of heart, whereas Jesus resisted the devil in His wilderness season and came out filled with power for His future. The choice is ours!

Hi Peoples!

It is important to know the seasons that God is allowing us to go through. There are seasons of transition, seasons of waiting, seasons of wilderness experiences, seasons of stepping forward to the new things where changes takes place.

In all of these seasons, yield to Him and move on. Don’t prolong this season through disobedience, or grumbling like the Israelites did.

Don’t go ahead of God and birth an "Ishmael" like Abraham did. Sometimes, the waiting period can be long and to fill the void within, we may work out our own plans instead of waiting patiently.

I feel we need to continue to be focused in these seasons, fixing our eyes on Him, discovering what He wants to do in us; our character, our relationship and faith in Him, and our willingness to surrender our all to Him. No matter how difficult it is, there is something He is preparing us for...therefore, be strong and take courage!

You are not alone in this journey. His eyes are watching over you moving you one step at a time...
