ONLY YOU...

Only You could make me feel the way I do
You placed within me a fresh desire
Changed the course of my path
Instilled in me a longing
Awakened me to something new

Only You could break down my hardness
Living a life of self-centeredness
But you broke through the very thing which
I thought I could stand alone
Making it on my own

Only You Lord could melt down
My walls of inhibitions
Given me a new desire
Holding on to Your passion within me
I will move on for that which You have given; which is the best for me

It amazes me how the Lord leads us to new things in our lives, and drops within us new desires in our times of waiting. I remember the season of waiting where I had to let go of so many things which I deemed as important; so that I can embrace the new things when it comes. It was a struggle initially, wondering what it was that He was leading me to, but I knew deep inside He was preparing me for something new.

Thank you for being part of what He is doing in my life..the new season in which He has led me to. Truly I know deep inside, you have been given to me by Him..and I will cherish the moments I have with you... Love you lots!
