YOU ARE....

Sometimes, it is hard to describe the longing in my heart for more of Him. It is a thirst that only He can satisfy. It is a drawing, a taking hold of, a chasing after…well, like I said it is not easy to explain.

Sometimes I feel Him so close, that one day, I know, I will just see a glimpse of His face…perhaps then will I be satisfied, or I may say as Paul said “I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is necessary for you that I remain in the body.” (Phil 1:23-24).

(Urhm…not that u all need me that much lah…just that perhaps I have not finished what I am here for…in anycase, meeting you all is part of His plan …wink! That is what makes Christianity different …we love Jesus, but His people are important too!.. guess that was what Paul was trying to say).

David describes this longing in Psalm 42:1 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.

Just discovered a song that really touched my heart and puts into words some of the things I want to express… and here it goes:

In our busyness and moving on in our lives, let us not forget the things that really matters. Your relationship with Jesus. Let Him be one that is the lover of our souls, the one that satisfies our every longing. Do not be satisfied in your walk with Him…desire more…

Love ya peoples…the times spent with you all, the conversations I’ve had, are etched in my memory…

I know I have been a Busy Bumble Bee just a few weeks ago due to the many speaking engagements… have not been able to spend much time with you all … quite intense person you know …(deep, concentrated, passionate, extreme?) … Ps Dennis does not like it when I have to take leave to prepare my sermons, but I cant help it, too many things in the office, to fully concentrate on the messages. Like I said to my boss, I’m not like him lah...he is “already there”…me not! Oops, thank God he does not know I have a blog…hehe…
