OVERWHELMED

I sit here, my tears flowing out because
I’m overwhelmed by Your love for me.
I sometimes feel I don’t deserve it.
There are so many ways I’ve been blessed, Your love pursues me.
Your love and overwhelming presence...
There are things I’ve not even asked or prayed about which came to mind,
You gave them to me, not just once but many times over.
It is like You’re telling me, "I love you more than you ever know."
Perhaps I find it hard to comprehend Your love.
I need to sit down and just embrace it fully -
I’m loved for me and this love, truly overwhelms me!

I was sitting in the prayer tower, and I was reflecting on how the Lord had blessed me in 2005. I was overwhelmed by His love and presence, and just burst into tears. I truly want to Thank the Lord for His love. "Lord, I am amazed by You...I am truly amazed by how You love me..."

He loves you too! Very dearly! Just want to encourage you that no matter what you face in the coming year, new challenges, trials or difficulties, He will always be there for you. Truly, nothing can separate us from His love. In Rom 8:37 it says, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.

Take time to be loved by Father. Come to Him unreservedly and pour your heart out to Him. Let His love overwhelm you. Sometimes, busyness and distractions stops us from coming to receive from Him. It is this love that will sustain us in this new year, this love that constrains us to move on for Him, this love that assures us and gives us the security that we need. It is this love that also helps us to love others unconditionally...
