THE PERFECT SACRIFICE

He gave me a crown of righteousness when He wore the crown of thorns (2 Tim 4:8)

He gave me garments of righteousness when His garments were torn and divided into four shares (Jn 19:23)

He healed me of my wounds and pain when He was pierced in His hands and His feet (Ps 22:16)

He gave me blessings when He took upon Himself the curse of mankind (Gal 3:13-14)

He gave me unconditional love and acceptance when He suffered rejection and was despised by men (Is 55:3)

He gave me health and joy when He took upon Himself our infirmities and sorrows (Is 55:4)

He gave me eternal life when He died on the cross for me and my sins (Is 53:12)

For all these and more...I will be forever grateful and I will live my life for Him...

In this season leading to Good Friday and Easter, let us spend some time in reflection on the Cross on what He has done for us.

Let us look into our hearts and see if we have taken Him for granted. Have we continued to live in sin and made choices that undermines the power of the Cross.
