YOU ARE MINE...

Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.

(Isaiah 9:15).
Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; YOU ARE MINE. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;

the flames will not set you ablaze.

(Isaiah 43:1-2).
You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate.

But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you,

and your land will be married. As a young man marries a maiden, so will your sons marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you.

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth - for your love is more delightful than wine. Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes; your name is like perfume poured out.

No wonder the maidens love you! Take me away with you - let us hurry!

DEAR PEOPLES, ISN'T IT GOOD TO KNOW THAT HE LOVES US AND WE BELONG TO HIM..

DO YOU KNOW THAT JESUS IS ROMANTIC? WELL, HE SAYS IN SOS 4:9 "YOU HAVE STOLEN MY HEART, MY SISTER, MY BRIDE; YOU HAVE STOLEN MY HEART WITH ONE GLANCE OF YOUR EYES"...

AS WE PONDER ON THE WORDS OF OUR LORD TO US, APPROPRIATE THEM TO YOUR LIVES AND BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE SPECIAL AND YOU ARE HIS...LET IT BE OUR RESPONSE TO HIM THAT "YOU ARE MINE..."

IT IS IN THIS PLACE OF INTIMACY THAT WE KNOW HIM NOT JUST AS OUR GOD BUT THE LOVER OF OUR SOULS...
