MY PASSION...

What really drives me is knowing God in His presence..
Something I cannot do without..
It is not a pursuit of knowledge, though it is important
But it is a pursuit of a person

That is why I spend so much time with Him
It is a hunger for more and I can never be fully satisfied
There have been moments when it is just silence
But my soul has been fed and it is filled with contentment

I can’t help but be impressed by A W Tozer
Who said; “For it is not mere words that nourish the soul
But God Himself, and unless and until the hearers find God
In personal experience they are not the better for having heard the truth.

The Bible is not an end in itself, but a means to bring men
to an intimate and satisfying knowledge of God
that they may enter into Him and delight in His presence
and taste and know the inner sweetness of God Himself
in the core and center of their hearts.”

Do you know that not many people appreciate these sacred moments?
They fail to understand when you are silent in His presence
Prayer has become a method of do’s and don’ts
And many have been tired and weary
Discover again that place of intimacy where that flame that is within
Will continue to burn with passion…

- guess you would understand when i take leave to prepare my sermons

- when you find me in the prayer tower in the mornings...you wonder if i have received your smses when there is silence...

- when i take 2 whole weeks off and not have any solid plans on how i am going to spend my time?

- times you tried calling or sms'ing..but my h/p is not on?

...thanks for understanding...i am in heaven...oops... i mean I am enjoying heaven on earth... :)

...thanks for being around to bring me back to the ground...and to know there is much to be done ...

...but there again, before the doing there is the "being" and I am enjoying every moment
